In 2000, paper
producing companies generated 61,367,332,416 LBS of solid waste
(trash) while producing paper. This is the equivalent of filling
2,191,690 garbage trucks full of trash each year. According to
a three year study, there are only 136,000 garbage trucks in the
U.S.
“As consumers ourselves,
we were kinda blown away at the harmful effects of paper production.
We quickly realized that our service is more than just a good
idea, it’s a way for us [consumers] to create a positive change
in our environment, and it doesn’t cost us a thing.”
